Moving Out of a Trademark Property?
Decided to move out of a Trademark Property? We’re here to help make your move-out process as smooth and straightforward as possible. Providing proper notice and following the required steps ensures a timely lease conclusion and helps avoid unnecessary fees or delays.
Providing Proper Notice
Residents are required to submit a 60-day written notice prior to the lease renewal period.
Please note:
- The renewal period begins on the 1st of the month
- Notices must be received no later than 60 days before this date to be considered valid
Failure to provide proper notice may result in additional charges in accordance with your lease agreement.
Pre-Move-Out Inspection
All residents must complete a pre-move-out inspection. This inspection:
- Helps identify potential maintenance or cleaning issues
- Provides guidance on how to minimize deductions from your security deposit
- Allows time to address concerns before your final move-out date
Our team will coordinate this inspection once notice is received.
Move-Out Responsibilities Checklist
To ensure a successful move-out, please complete the following steps:
- Terminate all utilities effective on the last day of your lease
- Thoroughly clean the entire property, including appliances, bathrooms, floors, and fixtures
- Vacate the property by the final day of your lease
- Remove all personal belongings—items left behind may be considered abandoned and disposed of accordingly
- Return all keys, fobs, and garage remotes to the Trademark Office
Please note: You do not fully relinquish possession of the property until all keys have been returned.
Final Walk-Through & Security Deposit
After the property has been vacated and keys returned, a final inspection will be completed. Any applicable charges for damages beyond normal wear and tear, cleaning, or outstanding balances will be assessed in accordance with your lease.
Security deposit dispositions will be processed as required by state law.
